started in 1986 for the purpose of working together on a cooperative

The National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) has been the staffing
industry educator since 1961 and enjoys its reputation as the oldest
industry association. NAPS continues to maintain the position as the
search and staffing industry educator through our certification program,
continuing education initiatives, eLearning and our annual conference.
NAPS increases the public and business awareness of the value of personnel
services, and educates members and non-members towards better practices
and the maintenance of high professional standards.

The American Staffing Association (ASA) is the voice of the staffing industry.
We promote the interests of our members through legal and legislative
advocacy, public relations, education, and the establishment of high
standards of ethical conduct. The association’s member companies
operate more than 15,000 offices across the nation and account for
85 percent of U.S. industry sales. ASA has 71 affiliated chapters
in 43 states and the District of Columbia.

The Texas Association of Personnel Consultants (TAPC) is a professional
trade association dedicated to promoting high standards of business
practices and state of the art educational programs for members within
the staffing industry.
The Capital Area Association of Personnel Consultants (CCAPC) was founded
in Austin in July 1985, and created with the purpose of operating
an association of personnel consultants in order to promote the common
business interests of the members and to provide ongoing education
and certification in order to improve the level of service for clients
and candidates.

Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) is the leading provider of business intelligence,
